Although often overlooked, radio communications are a key element for efficient command and control during disaster operations as well as day to day hospital operations. DMC has over 20 years of experience in EMS and hospital communications systems. We provide the services necessary for establishing a hospital radio communications system that provides the capabilities necessary for efficient and reliable communications internally among key hospital personal in addition to externally with EMS, law enforcement, and other important authorities.
The Operations Level course is designed specifically for the hospital based first receiver. It is a 10 hour course where the learner will meet the criteria identified in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120. A portion of this training will involve field training in the hospitals decontamination unit.
The advanced course is a lecture series on the medical management of patients due to a CBRINE (chemical, biological, radiological, incendiary, nuclear or explosive) event.
